Horses for kids

I recommend to start riding at about 4-5 years old on a pony .At 7 years old your child can start riding a horse.if the child does not feel comfortable riding a horse then you can stick to riding a pony but ponies tend to have choppy gaits.Once they have ridden a pony for a while the faster gaits on the horse will feel much smoother and easier.

In my case I started riding later since non of my family was interested so they hadn’t introduced me to horses 🐎.I find it very relaxing and nice and it is one of my favorite things to do.I hope you do too !
